How we configure devices for your business
We begin by establishing a configuration standard for your business, the operating system settings, security configuration, software installations, and access credentials that every device should have when it leaves us. For businesses already on a managed IT arrangement, this standard is derived from the wider IT environment we manage, endpoint security policies, Microsoft 365 tenancy settings, and Entra identity management are all reflected in the device configuration.
For each new device, we apply that standard during setup, verify the configuration is correct, and test access to the systems and applications the user will need. Devices are tested under the intended user's account where possible, so we can confirm everything works before the device is handed over.
For replacement devices, we manage the transition from the outgoing machine, migrating data and access credentials, configuring the new device to the same standard, and ensuring the user's working environment is replicated correctly. The old device is wiped and prepared for secure disposal or reuse once the transition is confirmed complete.
